Gamer Jazz - the Music of Video Games
Music has always been a part of the way we tell stories. As video games have come into their own as a storytelling medium, their soundtracks have also evolved to rival those of theater and film. Saxophonist and bandleader James Sewell takes an S-Tier team of players on a speed run through the history of video game music, featuring quirky reimaginings of everything from the classic Nintendo themes of Koji Kondo to the sweeping orchestral sounds of Martin O’Donnell.
