Thoughtful, confronting, authentic and uplifting. The stories were raw and vulnerable. Having seen it for the second time, I was able to appreciate the storytelling and relationship between the cast so much more. Well done all!

I watched recital’s Mandurah run and immediately knew I would be watching it again when it came to fringe at least once (if not all four shows). The performers grip your heart through the whole show, an amazing piece of writing accompanied by heart wrenching movement throughout. An exploration of experiences and stories that need to be heard - Everyone involved in making this show should be incredibly proud of themselves! Thank you for creating such a beautiful piece of art!

recital encompasses the highest purposes of dance while highlighting the potentially long lasting, deep rooted struggles from many different perspectives and experiences. this real world telling of this creative outlet and sport has a very real deep tone about how dance effects all of us who 'perform'

I genuinely mean it when I say that this is the greatest show I have seen in my lifetime. Every single one of the performers brings such a raw passion and deprh to the stage when exploring their relationship with the dance industry and all it’s struggles, crescendoing into a beautiful dance piece that made me weep from the sheer beauty of it. If I had to choose a show to represent what it means to create art, I would pick recital in a heartbeat.

I saw Recital. when it debuted in Mandurah. It’s such an amazing show that shows multiple perspectives of the struggles, challenges and the community you can find within being a dancer. Definitely a tear jerker and I would watch it every night if I could
