Yagan Square

Yagan Square is Perth's cultural heart. A vibrant destination where creativity, entertainment and city life come together.

Located between the CBD and Northbridge, Yagan Square is home to live performances, festivals, markets, food experiences and community celebrations throughout the year. Built on a site of cultural significance to the Whadjuk Noongar people, the precinct continues a tradition of culture, community and storytelling.

With Edith Cowan University's city campus and the world-renowned Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) on its doorstep, Yagan Square sits at the centre of Perth's arts and cultural hub, bringing together students, artists and audiences.

The precinct features multiple performance locations, including the iconic Amphitheatre beneath a digital canopy of 26,000 lights, and The Mall, a vibrant public space ideal for pop-up performances and activations.
