Classical AF is the cheeky answer to two big questions: “How do you even listen to classical music?” and “What the f** is happening up there on stage?”
A hilarious crash course in how music “works.” We break down the tricks composers use to mess with your heart and brain, with live demos, songs, and interactive games (yes, drinking may be involved).
A wild romp through classical music history, packed with jaw-dropping stories, scandalous gossip, and of course, stunning music, plus maybe a naughty tune or two.
By the end, you’ll have laughed, learned, and discovered that classical music isn’t some intimidating museum piece, it’s alive, surprising, and seriously fun.

Flamingo Strings is a quartet of Perth's finest string musicians, with a passion for education through funny, engaging and interactive shows. The Flamingos started off presenting educational shows for primary school aged children but now also include adult centred educational shows, for those that love classical music already or have no idea about it in the slightest.
