Hugh McGuire is a Perth/Boorloo-based emerging playwright and actor. Passionate about creative and action-packed storytelling, Hugh has undergone numerous film and theatrical projects in both creative and starring roles. Having completed a Diploma in Musical Theatre in 2022, Hugh is currently undergoing a Bachelor of Acting at WAAPA. Recent credits include writing, directing, and starring in his original short film Highest Treason (2024), and starring in the recent GRADS production of Antigone. Hugh is looking forward to premiering his debut theatrical work Bottle Boys at FRINGE WORLD 2026.
