Bite Back
What happens when you put a feral lion in a private girls school uniform?
Following the 6-period timetable structure of one school day, BITE BACK explores the animalistic side of teenage girls trapped in the constrictive petri dish of high school. Values of civilised society are left behind at the school gates - at Ignatius Heart of Our Lady of Perpetual Sainthood, if you’re not a predator, you’re prey.
The School Captain campaign launches a ruthless fight for territory, a rumour escalates from a spark of truth to an uncontrollable wildfire, and a highly physical game of dodgeball becomes a cathartic release of rage where it’s every girl for herself.
Is it possible to restore balance by 3:30pm?
Presented by: Tara Booth, Macy Curtis & Summer Rule
Tara, Macy and Summer are recent graduates of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts' Advanced Diploma of Performance (Acting). While all going to different high schools, all three of them experienced the insanity that is the adolescent food chain, and have come together to explore the highs and lows in their debut piece of writing.
