Unleashed is an original theatre work from Home-grown Theatre in collaboration with the young people from the Cockburn Drama Program.

When Tessa receives an invitation to her annual family reunion, her fiancé Ash insists on accompanying her, asking 'How bad can one weekend with your family be?'. He soon finds out as he encounters a narcissistic belly dancing aunt, conservatively right-leaning uncles with 'opinions', a cousin who is mourning the loss of her pet snake and a great aunt who wants to sign him up to her latest MLM scheme. Tessa and Ash must join together to make it through the weekend and survive the most terrifying thing of all - the family talent show.

Unleashed explores the tumultuous waters of family relationships, the good, the bad and the hilariously ugly.
