This contemporary circus experience descends into the body’s oldest memory: the intelligence that existed before language, before shame, before you learned to apologise for taking up space. Through breathtaking aerial artistry, fire, and raw human movement, it explores the ancient question your nervous system has always asked: Am I safe?
Inspired by doctoral research into the body's lost capacity to hold paradox. THRESHOLD blends science and spiritual insight into a bold debut of mesmerising acts that holds a mirror to what lies beneath the surface.

Electrician by day & award-winning aerial artist by night, Tara Harrison brings a unique perspective where industry meets artistry, & strength meets softness. As a creative producer, she champions WA's independent circus & festival communities through bold, emotionally driven live experiences. Cynthia J. Harrison (BSW, BVA, M.MSc, PhD Candidate) is the writer & creative director of THRESHOLD. A practitioner-researcher with 30 years' experience across social work, anthropology, trauma-informed practice & the visual arts, her work explores why the body holds fear, love & pre-verbal memory. Founder of the Academy for Conscious Evolution & host of Spirit Whisperer, her doctoral research in Consciousness Studies underpins THRESHOLD's fusion of science, spirituality, circus and fire.Social media
