The Pole Shebang
A neurodivergent, gender-rebellious Pokémon-obsessed Asian-Canadian Xennial clinging to the last vestiges of her able bodied youth... on a pole. Sure to be a celebratory spectacle of a nerdy gal dancing in her skivvies!
'THE POLE SHEBANG' is a coming-of-middle-age story about navigating the glitzy shadows of the pole dancer world.
Created & performed by Andrea James Lui, including real life stories about dancing at the club, her Asian Mom, and featuring costumes & choreography from her actual career as a competitive pole dancer.
