The Kakilambe Dance

The Kakilambe Dance - A high-energy dance theatre piece where West African dance meets modern Hip-hop grooves, revealing how ancestral movement lives in today’s rhythms as evidence of cultural continuity. This expose traces the journey of the Kakilambe (father of destiny) as his ancient ritual dance echoes through time into modern Afro-dance and Hip-hop rhythms and movement.
