Presented by: The Blue Room Theatre & Leg Business
Delaney Burke and producer Scarlet Rose have been creating cabaret shows in Boorloo together since 2025. Both graduates of WAAPA’s Bachelor of Performing Arts course, they bring together powerhouse teams of independent artists to create original cabaret work with a unique flavour of bold feminist politics, outrageous acts, and dazzling visuals. Their work champions artistic experimentation and collaboration with local nightlife artists who often feature as guest performers. Their debut show Leg Business was performed at The Blue Room Theatre and was nominated for 5 Performing Arts WA Awards including Best Independent Production, Outstanding Contemporary Performance, Outstanding Set Design, Outstanding Lighting Design, and Outstanding Performer (Lucy Wong). Leg Business also won The Blue Room Theatre's 2025 Members Choice award. They premiered their second original show, Late Night Business, in February 2026. Graeme Watson described their work as “the most profound and moving burlesque show I’ve ever seen” (OutInPerth).Social media
