Six weeks into living in Las Vegas (I’ll explain), I was eating a lukewarm slice of pizza on the Strip when I got a text from home.

Not to be dramatic but it changed the way I viewed the world.

Then a monster truck converted into a giant shopping trolley (see 2nd image), blaring Ginuwine’s Pony and carrying 7 drunk tourists, sped past.

Somehow these events are connected and I’d love to tell you why.
