Season Songbirds
Season Songbirds brings together four Western Australian female singer-songwriters to share their original songs and the stories, experiences and perspectives behind them. Inspired by Nashville’s “songwriters in the round” format, this acoustic gig series offers a rare glimpse into the creative process — where songs are stripped back, stories are shared and diverse voices take centre stage.
Alongside the music, each event showcases one WA female visual artist, whose artwork shapes the event’s visual identity. This event creates a space for a WA female visual artist alongside the songwriters, connecting the different forms of creative expression. Together, these artists showcase the depth, diversity and multidisciplinary spirit of WA’s creative community.

Presenter
Presented by: Midnight Francine
Midnight Francine is a Western Australian alternative folk and blues singer-songwriter, curator and community-minded creative based in the Perth Hills. With a deep appreciation for honest songwriting, intimate performance and the stories that connect us, Midnight Francine creates music that sits comfortably between the earthy traditions of folk and blues and the more introspective edges of contemporary songwriting. At the heart of Midnight Francine’s creative practice is a belief that music is not simply something to be performed — it is something to be shared. Her work is grounded in the idea that live music can create spaces where people feel seen, heard and connected, while giving artists the opportunity to tell their stories in their own voices.Social media
