Award-winning magician Sam King returns with an off-beat and unhinged comedy magic show that smashes together soap-opera melodrama and jaw-dropping tricks.
Expect dramatic twists, absurd stories, and a healthy dose of chaos as Sam blends sleight of hand with his trademark humour. It’s part magic show, part parody, and part total breakdown.
Sam has twice won the weekly award for Best Magic at Adelaide Fringe (2022 & 2024), and now he’s back with his most unpredictable and hilarious show yet.

Sam King is a multi-award-winning magician and comedian based in Adelaide. Known for blending absurd comedy, sharp wit, and world-class sleight of hand, Sam has performed across Australia, the UK, and on cruise ships. He has won Best Magic at Adelaide Fringe (2022 & 2024), the “One to Watch” Award (2022), and was runner-up in both RAW Comedy Australia (2021) and So You Think You’re Funny UK (2022). Sam is also the founder and curator of the Adelaide Magic Theatre, a unique 30-seat venue dedicated to close-up magic.
