Remember 'The Reminder'
It's 2007. Leslie Feist has just released her third studio album The Reminder, and it is EVERYWHERE. It's playing on the radio. It's the moody background music on an episode of Grey's Anatomy. It's in an Apple commercial. The Office is spoofing it. It is even on Sesame Street.
Why all this airplay? It's just a really, really great album; 13 perfect tracks running the gamut of human emotions. There are bops. There are tingles. There are tracks that make you want to weep, and tracks that make your heart soar.
The Reminder turns 20 in 2027, and Hengequeens feminist pop choir are celebrating by performing the album in full. Thirty women and people of diverse genders, in small and large groups, a cappella.
Come Feist fans, come choir fans, come music fans, come one, come all!

Presented by: Hengequeens
Hengequeens is a feminist pop choir, singing on Whadjuk Noongar country since 2021. The Queens sing popular and not-so-popular songs in bespoke 6 part arrangements. We choose repertoire by, for and about women and non-binary people, to amplify and promote diverse voices, experiences and creative expressions. When not smashing the patriarchy, we eat a lot of tacos and cake (not at the same time though).Social media
