PILL PUPPY
Good dogs. Bad habits. Worse systems.
Making its FRINGE WORLD debut, PILL PUPPY is an original play presented by Peyton Ada, about two dogs trying to survive a world determined to make them easier to manage.
Lucky & Pickles meet at Animals Anonymous and soon become inseparable. Lucky the German Shepherd doesn’t believe he can be “fixed”, whilst Pickles the Pomeranian is desperate to be her “best self”. But when Pickles’ obsession with self-improvement starts making her instincts disappear, Lucky grows worried, and the line between care & control begins to blur.
Surreal, funny, and painfully human, PILL PUPPY interrogates the systems that claim to care for us, asking who gets to decide what “better” looks like — and what we lose when we become it?
