Perth vs the World - The Clash of the Comics
Perth's finest jesters go head to head with national and international comics in this fun game show! They will perform stand-up spots, team games and team challenges, with MC Eric Tinker striving to herd these comic cats. Eric is a musical comedian from the UK and will throw some song snippets into the mix. You, the audience, help decide which is the funniest team and you can answer some questions too! Can Perth prove it can take on the world? Come along and find out!

Derek Tickner (stage name Eric Tinker) is a musical comedian, improviser, photographer, cartographer and writer. He has produced and performed comedy shows for the last five years at Adelaide Fringe. His show The Eric Tinker Experience enjoyed a successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2022.
He has performed at festivals, clubs and pubs around Australia and in his native England, as well as in the USA, Canada, New Zealand, Europe and Southeast Asia. His style is influenced by the likes of Spike Milligan, The Bonzo Dog Band, Steve Martin and Flight of the Conchords.
Derek is producing and performing in three shows at FRINGE WORLD: 'The Eric Tinker Experience', ‘The Boomer and the Doomer' and 'Perth vs The World – The Clash of the Comics'.
