It's All Greek To Me
"It's All Greek To Me" retells the Greek legend of Philomena and Baucis, promoting the benefits of showing kindness to strangers. The comedy is set in both modern-day Fremantle and ancient Greece (420 BC). It could be described as everything the movie "The Odyssey" is not, but with the same moral.
The performance is as if watching the recording of an audio play. Sets, costumes, and props are minimal; actors read their scripts in front of microphones, and sound effects are produced live on-stage.
It is for a general audience with some social satire and bad puns.
Fourth Wheel Productions has been producing audio plays for podcasts since 2020, occasionally performing some of these live as a Christmas pantomime.
