HIGH AND MITEY
When the streets of suburbia go to sleep, the stoners come alive.
Bruce, Sasha, and Jez ride their bikes to Anderson Park for a late-night sesh. They’ve graduated from a homemade Gatorade bong to the Miteybeug – a factory-made Vegemite bong. Life is good.
Then someone steals it.
Who could be responsible for such a heinous crime?
The rival stoners? A groundskeeper? A dogwalker? A dog? Or worse… the police?
The hunt begins.
A search through the bushes snowballs into undercover missions, suburban gang rivalry, freestyle rap, council conspiracies, philosophical revelations, and a confrontation that changes the stoner landscape of Anderson Park forever.
HIGH AND MITEY is an absurd coming-of-age story about friendship, teenage mythology, and turning ordinary places into extraordinary worlds.
