Everyone knows that good things come in threes - the Triforce, Red Shells, Halo games - and Gamer Jazz! Now back for its third year at FRINGE WORLD, Gamer Jazz is putting a jazzy twist on even more of your favourite video game soundtracks.
Saxophonist and bandleader James Sewell takes an S-Tier team of players on a speed run through the history of video game music, featuring quirky reimaginings of everything from the classic Nintendo themes of Koji Kondo to the sweeping orchestral sounds of Martin O’Donnell.

Performing professionally in Perth for nearly a decade before relocating to NSW, James is in demand as a band leader or session musician.
James has presented award-winning shows at FRINGE WORLD for the last five years, including Gamer Jazz and Empire Strikes Up the Band.
He fronts the high-energy outfit "Brass Party", and plays with acts from a variety of genres, from hip-hop to jazz.
