EVERYTHING IS SO SWEET (Until You Call)
Daniel has prepared a proper FRINGE show. Everything is going very well. Then the phone rings.
EVERYTHING IS SO SWEET (Until You Call) is a 45-minute solo post-comedy performance blending autobiographical storytelling, theatrical performance, ambient textures and soundscapes.
What begins as a carefully controlled, funny performance starts to shift after one unexpected call. Jokes return differently. Silence gets harder to fill. The show keeps moving even when the person inside it no longer quite knows how.
Funny, intimate and slightly strange, it explores the gap between appearing fine and actually being fine, and asks whether getting better means becoming cured, or simply becoming more whole.

Daniel Rodriguez Waslicka is a multidisciplinary artist working across theatre, sound, photography and moving image. His practice brings together autobiographical storytelling, post-comedy, atmospheric sound and intimate live performance. Drawing on memory, language, identity and emotional complexity, he creates work that moves between humour and vulnerability, where carefully controlled performance can gradually give way to something more exposed, strange and human.Social media
