Blacksheep
“The most moving solo show I’ve seen in a long time.” Stage Whispers, 2025
Coming to FRINGE WORLD for its final season, Dr. Jae West shares her raw, sassy & heartfelt true story in Blacksheep. A bold journey of rebellion, belonging & self-discovery.
This emotive solo show dives deep into hard-hitting truths around body image, societal conditioning and growing up in the LGBTQIA+ community. Confronting and liberating moments are shared through storytelling, dance, and poetry.
But it’s not all heavy, expect glitter, Spice Girls, and a viral social experiment that sparked a global conversation.
Blacksheep is a celebration of identity, courage, and the power of truth. Come join us for its last Perth season.
