Acceptable Racism
What separates a good racist from a bad one? Zain Seven is figuring it out. Confidently. Often incorrectly.
Growing up in Pakistan, where he thought racism didn’t exist, Zain arrived in the Western world to discover a complicated set of social rules—and everyone seemed to have a different version.
Curious, cheeky and a little too willing to say what he’s thinking, Zain stumbles through cultural differences, polite prejudices and his own questionable assumptions, developing an understanding that makes perfect sense. To him.
A personal, playful look at how we see each other, from a man who always has another question when he should probably stop talking.
He’ll leave you with one: what makes racism acceptable, and who gets to decide?
