02 February 2026 - M K.The circus performances were fantastic although we had heard that a couple of Japanese performers had to be replaced late with Australians. The result was a nearly non Japanese cast presenting a “new wave of Japanese circus” which has caused some upset. The element of Japanese culture could have been better developed also. The venue was big and not even half full. With a little more transparency around the issues and a $10 drop in ticket prices, this show could fill far more seats. -

01 February 2026 - Helen T.If you like circus performance then this is for you. The artists are very good at what they do. Whilst the show is a good family friendly event the let down is the Japanese theme. It just does not connect. It’s like they said ‘we’ve got some cool performers we should put a theme behind it’ and randomly picked Japan. -

01 February 2026 - Kay V.The performers were very talented, but for the price I expected more. Despite being branded as a Japanese circus, it felt more like an international circus with kimonos rather than an authentic cultural experience. Overall, it was a pleasant show. -

31 January 2026 - Simon Y.This was a skilled bunch of circus performers doing some great work. The opening acrobat was amazing and set a very high bar, unfortunately it took the following acts a while to catch up. The Japanese theme was a bit odd as there wasn't much about Japan other than wearing kimonos and some make up. Overall it was a fun show that was well run, worth seeing. And don't sit on the sides, which is weird because it's a long narrow seating layout and most of the seats are on the sides. -

30 January 2026 - Tia C.Tickets are a bit too expensive for what you get in my opinion but the show was mostly worth it, if you get enjoyment out of acrobatics in a Japanese themed show. The shamisen act dragged a bit as I didn't think it matched the calibre of the other acts. I was however impressed by all the acrobatics, especially suspended pole/hair and aerial silks, and all the performers had great charisma. -

30 January 2026 - Graham B.Every show we have seen at ice cream factory has been worth it this year. The aerials are insane, with even one hanging by her hair. -

29 January 2026 - Gill C.I don't think that having some kimonos and umbrella props make Gasha 'a new wave of Japanese circus' when there is no meaningful cultural element. While performers are skilled, I think the whole marketing of this show was off. Also, if you were GA, for more than half the show the lights shone directly into your eyes, having to squint, and not being able to actualy see the performers due to being blinded. -

29 January 2026 - Suzanne B.There was really only one stand-out performer. Much of the show seemed to be 'time filling'. For the price paid, I expected more. Most of the venue was empty, so I think this show would have had more impact in a smaller venue. -

28 January 2026 - Stephanie C.Very talented artists and acrobats, beautiful costumes, unique style of music, I only have 4 days in Perth and that was an excellent first show on my schedule :) Especially loved the sassy Harley Quinn look-alike, born to be on stage ❤️
