Ten minutes with each of these fast-paced, no-holds-barred comedians—Jack Smith, George Evens, and Sean Conway—is a relentless barrage of jokes, personal anecdotes, and outright madness. Each comic brings their unique flavor to the mix, creating an electric atmosphere that keeps the audience on edge.

Jack Smith, 2023 Best Newcomer WA Comedy Awards, storms the stage with the confidence of a man who’s done 110 shows in his first year—and it shows. His rapid-fire delivery covers everything from drug-dealing barristers to his gay dogs, all while toeing the line between comedy and a sex therapy session. With a borderline philosophical take on the price of living and a few spicy political opinions thrown in, Smith’s set is a wild, unpredictable ride.

Next up is George Evans, 2024 Triple J Raw State Finalist, the good-looking one. His material cleverly plays on his straight-but-shelter-cat-collecting persona, weaving it into reflections on generational technology gaps. His retelling of struggling to explain internet cookies to his grandfather is a standout moment, as is his hilarious take on navigating life as a new Fremantle native. Evans’ delivery is smooth, self-aware, and effortlessly charming.

Sean Conway is one of Australia’s finest, whose presence alone commands attention. From his cardiac arrest scare to his American girlfriend, his material swings between life-threatening experiences and absurd humor. His short-lived UFC career gets its fair share of laughs, along with his stories of American drug/work parties. Conway’s comedic energy is both frantic and captivating, leaving the audience breathless by the end.

And the icing on the cake—my personal favorite part—is when all three take the stage for question time, responding to the audience’s queries with no-holds-barred! Be sure to look out for there pod cast same title “smoko bros”

In short, I highly recommend this show. I’ve had the personal experience of watching these comedians grow in the Perth comedy scene (except for Sean Conway—he was already well-established), and it’s been incredible to see them in action.
