The 2018 FRINGE WORLD Festival will run from 26 January to 25 February and we are looking for people who are keen to volunteer their time for a few shifts each week. Most FRINGE WORLD events will occur after 5pm with some earlier day shifts on the weekends. Events will be held at venues located within our FRINGE WORLD managed Hubs.
Volunteers are absolutely crucial to a smooth and successful FRINGE Festival. Our FOH volunteers are at the very heart of the festival, they get to explore venues across the Perth Cultural Centre and The Pleasure Garden, they get awesome perks like food and beverage discounts, and the opportunity to watch great FRINGE WORLD performances, and it's a great way to make friends and meet other like-minded FRINGE-lovers!
FOH Volunteers will assist with:
• Answering patron enquiries
• Managing queues, ripping tickets, ushering within venues
• Assisting patrons with access requirements
• Venue set up
We urge you not to overcommit yourself when indicating your availability. Be advised that shifts can run late into the night (11pm-1am), so please take care in planning your transportation to and from the festival.
* Please note that due to FRINGE WORLD Festival licensing, we can only accept applications from those that are 18+.
