Cinema and Events Coordinator

The primary purpose of the Cinema and Events Coordinator is to assist the Artrage Projects team to present key cinema projects, Rooftop Movies and Girls School Cinema, alongside additional exciting arts and culture events throughout the year.

The Cinema and Events Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the efficient on-site operations of Rooftop Movies and Girls School, acting as the main point of contact for cinema and events staff and assisting the Projects team in program presentation.

The role will require the Cinema and Events Coordinator to assist the Cinema and Events Producer and Artrage Creative Producer to present cinema and event programs through program content creation, copywriting, coordinating venue operations, customer service and liaising with the wider team onsite maintenance directives.

The Cinema and Events Coordinator will also have the opportunity for creative input into event planning and presentation and to work alongside the Marketing team to promote activities.

The Cinema and Events Coordinator joins the ARTRAGE team in contributing to the planning, coordination and presentation of Rooftop Movies, Girls School Program and additional ARTRAGE Projects associated programs and activities. The start date for the position is 22 September 2021.

 

Contract Period: 22 September 2021 – 15 April 2022.

Working Hours: Full Time. Due to the nature of this role, the successful applicant may be required to work reasonable additional hours during peak operational periods.

Working Location: The role is based at the ARTRAGE office in Northbridge, with time spent at Girls School, East Perth, Rooftop Movies, Northbridge and other activated locations in and around Perth as required.
