Presented by: Joseph Simons with Adam Gardnir
Exploring the lives of influential choreographers including Martha Graham, Merce Cunningham, Bob Fosse, Rudolf Nureyev, Pina Bauch, Gene Kelly and Paula Abdul, Jacob not only talks about them, but demonstrates their signature style at the same time! As he prepares, Jacob ponders the difference between ‘influence’ and ‘plagiarism’ and begins to question his own legacy…
Development for this play began in New York City at the Roundabout Theater Rehearsal Studios, where Joseph Simons, Emma Canalese and Enrico Melozzi worked together to bring to life Jacob and his obsession with dance. Later developments took place in London, UK and Brisbane, Australia. Following on from his hit solo show First Things First, dance and comic maverick Joseph Simons returns with his next one-man adventure.
