Killing Sofie Prints
Now: Skinny man in a grey tracksuit, riding a bike too small for him, listening to beats, loud. Riding by, looking cool. In Mildura, I see a lot of adults chucking wheelies. Recently two children got ran over in the mall.
13th of June: anniversary of my friend, Eurydice's murder. My Uncle rings and tells me he has two weeks to live.
Yesterday, Before my birth, Sophie Prince spends her adolescent years as a Japanese prisoner of war in Indonesia. After that War, The Indonesian War of Independence finds her running again and she winds up as a refugee in Australia.
Killing Sofie Prints is a dark comedy about Apohenia and Recurrence and thinking you're Kate Bush.
Maybe the universe is pulling apart.
This show is subjectively funny.
