K Mak at the Planetarium
STIRRING, ELECTRIFYING SOUNDSCAPES USHER YOU THROUGH THE COSMOS as K Mak fuses live cello, violin, synths, beats and vocals with arresting visuals at Scitech's Planetarium.
18m domed ceilings, reclining seats and 6.1 surround sound make this immersion nothing short of transcendent.
Repeatedly selling out Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth and hot off it’s heels from a record-breaking 92 show season in Edinburgh, this will likely sell out too.

Presented by: K Mak
K MAK is the originals project of cello player Kathryn McKee - a distillation of classical, alternative and electro-pop music. She draws on her experience playing around Australia, Asia, Europe and the Pacific with Kanye West, Eminem, Archie Roach, Guy Sebastian, Vera Blue and Opera Queensland to create vivid, emotive soundscapes.
K Mak has played at the Woodford Folk Festival, a Tedx Youth Forum and opened the World Science Festival. Her visually-curated planetarium show has repeatedly sold out the Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Anywhere Fringe festivals, and is not long back from a record-breaking 92 show season in Edinburgh.
K Mak has somehow also featured in the latest Supercheap auto ad, in Baz Lurhmann’s ‘Elvis’, and in Dubai fashion magazine ‘Mojeh’.
