Lash Out is a hot, funny, fearless and ridiculously talented all-female cast delivering a thrilling high-energy fusion of burlesque and circus.

Sian Brigid was a daring and captivating host. She could take the heat, swallow swords half her size and commanded the stage with ease. The cast was packed with award-winning and familiar Head First Acrobats performers. Mesmerising performances from Chelsea Angell, the hula-hoop aficionado, Andrea James Lui, Maddy Long Legs and fresh jaw-dropping trapeze routines from Jessica Robbins. The show included choreographed ensembles to fun mash-up songs, which displayed great cast chemistry.

And then there was Sugar Du Joure, who was the icing, whipped cream and cherry on top. Sugar stole the show with divine timing, indulgent costumes, and impeccable song choices that put the audience in a hyperglycaemic frenzy.

The audience was loud, but the show was louder, captivating everyone with the performers’ athleticism, precision, and chemistry. Sexy, daring, and full of guts and glory, it was a thrilling ride from start to finish. Head First Acrobats never fail to impress and are a must-see circus act at the festival.
