Comedy for the Ladies is literally a laugh-a-minute reminder that wise women, with wit and wisdom, can deliver wicked comedy! 77-year-old Nola describes womanhood like it is...and it's joyful, disarming and relentlessly funny.

From the moment she steps on stage, she glows with the energy of the fun mum you wish you had: mischievous, honest and without pretence. Stories of relationships, aging husband(s), sex, the young women of today and online dating for older women - all told with unhurried confidence - like you're sitting around with a group of girlfriends having a wine and a good old belly laugh!

What makes her set especially engaging is her storytelling. Nothing feels mean-spirited. Instead, she invites the audience to laugh with her, not at themselves. The laughs come fast and last the duration of the show. The connection lingers as you recognise truths you've lived and never quite named.

There's something refreshing about seeing a woman her age owning the stage so comfortably and proving that comedy doesn't expire, and neither does relevance. Comedy for the Ladies is empowering without trying to be, hilarious without forcing it. It's like a big laugh-filled chat with someone who's seen it all and decided to make it funny.

Get a group of your gal pals together and go see Nola! You are guaranteed a laugh-out-loud experience that will leave you with sore cheeks, a lighter heart and a feeling that you've just been lovingly read by the coolest woman in the room!
