Some may never have considered that 'Coyote Ugly' could transcend generations - less so the epicentre of such splendour being Perth, Australia - yet, with Dirty Dingo Bar, here we are.
An immersive experience modelled off the canon, bisexual awakening y2k film 'Coyote Ugly', Dirty Dingo Bar is a celebration of women, queerness, femininity and sex as power.
In this site-specific work, queens, mascs, twinks, femmes, cougars, allies and everyone in between are united in the Dingos hall of fame, bending and snapping together with reckless abandon.
Skilful dancers command the space as they weave through it effortlessly - on stage, in the air, on the floor, in chains and even atop the bar in a particularly hydrating scene.
It’s a fast-paced, blink and you’ll miss it two-hour showcase of unabashed talent, strategic crowd work, and zillennial flair. Be prepared for salacious content, boogying and audience participation that’s always founded on consent.
This night is a woo-girl’s dream - with rhinestones, cowgirl hats and respectfully euphoric hollers enthusiastically encouraged.
So do yourself a favour and let go of patriarchal insecurities as you get down and dirty with the Dingos at FRINGE WORLD 2026.
