I love a good circus show that leaves you giggling, amazed and impressed by the sheer skill displayed. Flirtatious does all of that and more. 

We had a great time with the seven skilled performers from Kinetica’s latest show on at The Rechabite. Starting with Anthony and his amusing getting “ready to party” dressing (undressing!), which quickly developed into an amazing aerial strap routine flying and spinning high above us. His joyful and eager facial expressions were a delight. The six sexy dancing girls were then introduced to create a loose story about Anthony trying to find The One.

The performance links each superstar’s abilities throughout the night, with the cast drinking and gyrating to a banging soundtrack, then morphing into short scenes to continue the story. One of the audience members was thrilled with the storytelling, telling me that it was their highlight! To me, the highlight of the show was the incredible skills and talent on show by all the cast, with the funniest and most jaw-dropping being a very drunk partygoer balancing in her heels on some empty champagne bottles. I know that sounds simple, but trust me, it was extraordinary.

This local WA company from Malaga is a FRINGE WORLD regular, with shows from 2012, winning awards for many years, as not just a fabulous local company, but also an amazing circus against all the circus acts. So much stunning aerial and contortionist work!
