4 Teachers, For Teachers is a fast-paced, energetic and light-hearted comedy lineup where four teachers share their anecdotes from inside and outside the classroom.

At the centre of this show is comedian and teacher Ty Gray, whose easy charm and cheeky confidence set the tone for the night. Ty brings together four teacher-comedians with wildly different personalities and comedy styles. Spanning teaching worlds from high school and university to teaching English overseas and special needs, each performer offers a distinct perspective, with the shared experience of teaching acting as the common thread linking their stories.

The comedy zigzags from high-energy punchline delivery to self-mockery, wit and wordplay, before changing gears to dry and deadpan humour. The rapid movement between performances keeps the momentum high, generating a steady stream of chuckles, knowing nods from one teacher to another, and belly laughs as the audience recognise themselves in the tales being told. This variety ensures the energy never dips, while maintaining a strong sense of audience connection throughout the show.

This enjoyable and relatable comedy night is an ideal excuse for teachers looking for a laugh and a night out before the school year kicks off. With Ty joined by a rotating cast of teacher-comedians each night, no two shows are the same, though we certainly wouldn’t mind seeing a little more of you, Ty.
