Funked Up Brass will take you on an hour Holiday through time, uniting their New Orleans brass band sound with their take on the 80s hits we all know and love. Come on shake your bodies and prepare to have your minds and ear drums blown... after all, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!

Perth singer, performer, composer and band manager Matilda Simcock is excited to present Funked Up Brass for their fourth consecutive Fringe Festival. After having graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts with an Honours in Music, studying under some of the world's finest jazz musicians, she is ready to combine her knowledge and love of jazz to produce new and exciting musical projects. Being a regular performer around Perth, Matilda is no stranger to the stage and is looking forward to leading Funked Up Brass in a show bigger and more extravagant than ever before.
