About this event

Naples—the city of the volcano, with its narrow, vibrant streets, rich culture, ancient superstitions, pizza, and espresso—is also renowned for its music! Italian-born vocalist Etta D'Elia and her band will pay tribute to the greatest Neapolitan composers with a night of extraordinary songs, reimagined in a jazzy style. From Funiculí Funiculá to O Sole Mio, from L'Americano to the modern hits by Pino Daniele, you're in for an evening filled with passion, laughter, and love!

"An incredible night filled with song!" ★★★★★ Fringefeed, 2023

P.S. Don't miss out on "From Naples...With Cheese!"—a cheese-making demonstration/cheese tasting by La Delizia Latticini just before our show! Book your tickets including this pre-show experience at www.artsculturetrust.wa.gov.au

Presented by:
Etta D'Elia

An accomplished jazz vocalist with a unique talent for song interpretation, Etta D’Elia has made an indelible impression in Perth since moving from her native Italy a decade ago.

Etta was honored to sing twice at the Vatican in Rome, with both performances broadcast live on prime RAI1 Television. In 2004, she sang for Pope John Paul II, and in 2005, she performed for the show "Notte di Luce" in the presence of Pope Benedict XVI. Etta has pursued jazz performances across WA, appearing at venues such as The Crown, Ellington Jazz Club, and Perth Concert Hall. In 2018, she performed live for "Telethon" on Channel 9. Etta has also successfully presented her signature jazz show "Buona Sera Signorina" at the State Theatre Centre of WA for FRINGE WORLD 2023 and the Adelaide Fringe 2024.
