FRINGE WORLD Festival is an amazing time when Perth comes alive with entertainment but it can be a little difficult to know where to start!

Don't worry, we're here to help you make some smart decisions and have the most breezy Fringe this summer.

Go on a Fringe Binge!

Fringe shows are short and inexpensive – the average ticket price at this year’s Festival is about $24.

Some events are free! So, the best way to enjoy Fringe is to really immerse yourself.

See two shows in one night or book yourself a whole Fringe weekend. There’s such diversity you will never get bored.

Have a plan

If you're heading into one of the hubs in the city public transport is a great option.

Check out the Transperth app to see the best route to get you where you need to be. If you're driving use the CPP app to check out the available spots.

Make sure you leave plenty of time to get to your venue so the fun can begin!

Bring ID

Many FRINGE WORLD venues including The Pleasure Garden and The Showman's Fair at the Urban Orchard are licensed.

At licensed venues security may ask to see valid photo ID to gain entry. If you cannot produce valid photo ID then you may be refused entry, without refund. Click here for the valid forms of photo ID.

Each venue can have different licensing conditions so please check the venue license rules on the venue section of our website before purchasing a ticket.

If you are collecting tickets from a box office, you may also need ID and the credit card used to make your ticket purchase.

Arrive early and soak it all up

Most shows are about an hour long and that’s about the amount of time you should plan to have spare when you arrive at the venue.

You will need to pick up your tickets, find parking and don’t miss a chance to grab a drink and enjoy some of the free entertainment or food at our venues.

Just before your show you’ll be invited to assemble outside the performance space and seats are unassigned – so get to the front of that queue!
