Silly, smart and seaworthy — get towed away with Motorboat!

Meg McGlensey’s Motorboat is a one-woman wonder-boat. This buoyant comedy follows a naïve and determined vessel as she awaits clearance from the authoritative Captain Daddy. Is she ready to leave the dock on her maiden journey and venture into open water with horns blaring?

Land dwellers, prepare for departure, consult the manual and look out for dolphins because this little Motorboat is about to test her systems in a playful quest for self-discovery. Along the way, emergency lights flash, the bilge yard releases whatever’s been sloshing around down below, and even skippers in the back row may be called upon to help rip-start her motor. Expect sudden course changes, rogue waves and moments where the audience might be required to test their sea legs.

Cheeky, charming, and charismatic, this curious little dreamboat that never knew she could takes a splash into uncharted waters — discovering the unrestricted open seas, her own hidden capabilities and the thrill of leaving safe harbours behind.

Minimal nautical knowledge is required — just bring your imagination and a willingness to be silly, adventurous, and fully on board for the ride.
