Accordion Ryan’s Pop Bangers has exploded onto Perth stages again this February, as part of FRINGE WORLD 2026, and it’s still as quirky, fun, and funny as ever.

Via hits from artists such as Flo Rida, Britney Spears, Tina Turner, and Khia, plus some songs of his own composition, Ryan explores the trials and tribulations in the journey from romantic love to friendship and beyond. With some hilarious personal anecdotes shared along the way.

I still can’t decide whether the highlight of the show is Accordion Ryan’s rendition of Rihanna’s ‘Umbrella,’ or the eight-minute medley of Australian bangers. With hits from The Angels, The Wiggles, Nikki Webster, and Men At Work, among others. But trust me, it’s good.

Meanwhile, being the firecracker that he is, Ryan could not be a more generous and engaging performer. And his genuine enthusiasm for what he does, combined with his obvious work ethic and desire to meaningfully connect with his whole audience, makes it virtually impossible not to want to join in the fun. And there are plenty of opportunities to get involved.

This show is the epitome of everything that is wonderful about Fringe. You haven’t lived until you’ve heard Queen played on the accordion.

Don’t miss it!
