Major Swing Project delivers a French escape with their debut FRINGE WORLD Festival show – One Night in Paris.
Taking the audience on a musical journey celebrating the hits of the indomitable French songbird Édith Piaf (La Môme Piaf) and other enchanting tunes that transport you to the very heart of Paris.
Opening with 'Padam Padam' and giving a stunning cover of 'La Vie en Rose', these artists charmingly capture the heartbreak and romance of being in love.
Little Miss Squeezebox is an engaging and dynamic presence on stage and guides the rest of the band through a delightful hour of Parisienne flair and fun at the iconic and charming Ellington Jazz Club.
The group formed in the early days of Covid times – travelling around WA and spreading joy in every town from Albany to the Pilbara – their passion and love of music emanate from the stage. It was a delight to learn their origins, see them still continue to do what they love and bring joy and love to our lives.
Joined on stage by the fabulous Ben Griffith (guitar), Adam Springhetti (bass), and Ryan Daunt (percussion), Major Swing Project is a must-see at FRINGE WORLD.
