All Star Circus is a joyful, high-energy Fringe show that grabs your attention from the moment the lights come on. Advertised as a circus show for kids, the clever, cheeky humour aimed squarely at the grown-ups throughout makes this feel more like a kid's show for adults, with plenty of genuine laugh-out-loud moments along the way!

Very early in the show, I found myself grinning when I recognised several of the performers from Elixir, a show I’ve seen twice before and absolutely loved. That familiarity added to the excitement, knowing just how talented these performers are and watching them bring that same polish and skill into a family-friendly format.

The show cleverly shifts tempo, moving from fast and exciting sequences to humorous, silly moments, then suddenly slowing things down into something truly elegant and awe-inspiring. Watching the aerialists float, spin and hold impossible poses high above the stage is breathtaking, and those quieter, graceful moments are just as powerful as the big, high-energy tricks. Parents will also appreciate that the volume is spot on for little ones. Exciting without being overwhelming - my toddler appreciated this!

What really makes this show shine is how well it balances fun and skill. Kids are completely captivated by the movement and silliness, while adults can sit back and appreciate the precision, strength and in-jokes with the cast. It’s the kind of show where everyone walks out smiling, buzzing and talking about their favourite moments, which is certainly what we heard when leaving the Spiegeltent!

I'd 10000% recommend this to families and if you enjoyed All Star Circus, do yourself a favour and go and see Elixir. I'm their biggest fan and can't speak highly enough of their adult show - it’s just as impressive and unforgettable as this one!
