Alone: The Sacred Riana LIVE is easily one of the creepiest, most unforgettable illusion shows I’ve ever experienced.
From the second Riana stepped on stage in her eerie schoolgirl get-up, radiating that silent, gothic intensity, the whole theatre shifted. You could feel the air change — that delicious, uneasy “what on earth is about to happen?” tension settled over the room and never let go. The haunting soundtrack only tightened the grip.
Riana’s performance style is completely committed and unique. She barely speaks but creates an unsettling tone from the moment she warns audiences to “Leave now if you are scared.”
The show blends creepy horror with clever mind tricks, as Riana uses tarot cards, chalkboards, and an Ouija board to reveal personal information about audience members, which is unsettling on a whole new level.
The loudest collective gasp? The “mother presence” segment. Three random people were asked separately: How did she die? When? What was her daughter’s name?
The Answers? You'll have to see the show.
The final moment, involving a letter inside a box from the “mother,” pushed the theatre into stunned silence.
The large screen helps show detail, though those seated further back seemed less immersed, struggling at times to see and follow everything. A more intimate or tiered setup could elevate the experience further.
Dark, theatrical, and deeply unsettling — this isn’t just magic. It’s a supernatural spectacle.
And I loved every creepy second.
Alone: The Sacred Riana is now showing at Fringe World until 4th February 2026.
