FRINGE WORLD Tickets on sale soon!

Perth’s favourite Summer Festival is returning 20 Jan to 19 Feb 2023 and will bring you the hottest shows from Australia and around the globe. Our Early Release tickets go on sale to FRINGE WORLD Friends on 19 October and you can get the first look at the 2023 Program by becoming a Friend now.

And if you want to know more, we’ve put together some FAQs to help you navigate your way around the program!

What shows will be a part of the Festival?

FRINGE WORLD is an open-access Festival meaning any artist is welcome to register and showcase their work! The 2022 Festival featured more than 450 events at over 120 venues with close to 2,200 participating artists.

170 shows will go on sale in the Early Release, and even more shows will be added in November with the full program launch.

No matter what you’re looking for, you’re guaranteed to find a show to suit you at FRINGE WORLD! In genres like comedy, circus, cabaret, theatre, live music, dance, and more, you will be spoiled for choice this Festival season.

When do tickets go on sale?

On the 19 October, a handful of shows will go on sale as part of the Early Release. FRINGE WORLD Friends can exclusively buy tickets to these shows for a week before they are released for sale to the general public on the 26 October.

The full program of events will then go on sale on 16 November. Be sure to check the program regularly!

How do I purchase tickets?

For our digitally inclined audiences, you can download the FRINGE WORLD app or purchase tickets directly from the website. If you would prefer to buy your tickets in person, you can visit a FRINGE WORLD Box Office in the Perth Cultural Centre from 15 December 2022.

Is the Festival kid-friendly?

Absolutely! Whilst a lot of shows in the program are suited to a mature audience, the Festival will also host a range of family-friendly and children specific shows.

Fringe Kids is back at The Pleasure Garden during the January school holidays and each weekend throughout the Festival. As a family, you can see the FRINGE WORLD Mermaids, have a boogie at the Silent Disco, and check out a fun show or two.

Other venues around town and throughout the metro area will also play host to an exciting range of kids shows! Be sure to check out the program to find a show happening near you.

Can I buy tickets for a friend?

Delighting your friends with a ticket to a FRINGE WORLD show is always a good idea! If you know they’ll love Fringe but aren’t sure what show they would want to see, we suggest giving them the gift of choice with a FRINGE WORLD gift voucher. During the checkout process, you have the option to send a digital gift voucher straight to your friend's inbox so they can start browsing the FRINGE WORLD program right away!
