I think there's not a better word to describe the show than fun. It's silly, lands some great jokes, and is performed with no shortage of charmingly over the top characters - it's all in all a good time. Go for the laughs, stay for what is also ultimately a feel good story

Everything you could possibly want from a fringe show. Evocative storytelling, clever transitions and an incredible amount of heart. Sam/ Karl / Alexas deserve all of the flowers for this OUTSTANDING show.

Black Girl Rising is a powerful exploration of racial trauma and systemic oppression, blending raw storytelling with comedy to keep it light-hearted at times while delivering a profound message. It inspires empathy, reflection, and dialogue, making it a must-see for anyone seeking understanding and change.

10/10 such a great show, Emily brought so much Joy (pun intended) to Adults and Children alike - the show was fast moving with all the hits and never dwelled at any time, she had great banter and some fun stories about some of the songs. Having seen her solo now, I have purchased tickets to go check out one of her Adult shows and enjoy a few drinks & enjoy the full band experience.

This is the third year in a row we have seen Dave and I would go every year. One great comedian and very relatable 🤣🤣

Bought very last minute tickets to the show and was extremely engaged. Akmal was very funny but the show was derailed by a few front row audience members who thought we had paid to see them tell us jokes. Congrats to Akmal on handling the white guy with dreadlocks, the school teacher and the guy who thought he should ask his mother what she thought about being called Pauline Hanson. Improv gold.

This show is wonderful -very funny and educational for all ages. I trained as an evolutionary biologist and thought it was one of the best descriptions of evolution for a general audience I’ve ever seen. Kate had all of the kids (and adults) completely engaged for the whole show. My animal-loving 5 year old adored it. Highly recommend

What an excellent to show to see, especially in these modern times, where young people often feel so helpless against the big issues in the world. It showcases how the arts can be used to make a difference, both through its plot and the existence of its show itself inspiring more young people to get involved in local politics. Very talented young group of actors and creative team. The performances, set and technical aspects are definitely worth seeing.
