The Way Way Deep

Following the award-winning, sell-out festival hit Colossal, Patrick McPherson’s new play The Way Way Deep kicks off its world tour in Perth.

Named in The Independent’s Top 10 Shows of the Edinburgh Fringe, this is a “true gem of the festival" (CultureFix) and “an excellent piece of theatre” (Broadway World).

Blending bold storytelling, spoken word and original music, “master storyteller” (Theatre Weekly) McPherson brings his inimitable style to a new piece that follows the ecstasy and chaos of a twenty-year friendship.

Exceptional story telling that hits you in the feels. He’s funny and thought provoking, with clever use of sound and lighting to really set the scene. If you havent seen Colossal or Pear: But Braver. Book tickets to see them all

Incredible! I saw his Show Last Year And This Mans Ability To Tell A Story Is Incredible. I Can Usually See An Ending Coming And Whilst I Thought I Knew How It Ended The Ride There Was Sad, Provocative, Thoughtful And Powerfully Emotional. The Way Way Deep Takes A Long Hard Look At Human Connection, Friendships, Betrayal And How Easy It Is To Loose Yourself.

What a show! What a performer! Incredible writing and a powerhouse performance by Patrick McPherson. He had me spellbound from the moment he appeared on stage. This is everything I look for in Fringe Theatre and deserves all its accolades. Don’t miss this show!
