“My penis hurts.” That was the very first thing Jon's dad said to him upon his return home to Australia after 14 years of nomadic touring: “My penis hurts.”

AMERICAN'T is renowned comedic storyteller, Jon Bennett’s (Fire in the Meth Lab) latest show, chronicling his wild and chaotic attempt to navigate being stranded in the United States when the pandemic hit. Bennett eventually found himself forced back to rural South Australia, living once again with his conservative, religious & eccentric family.

After over a year trapped with his family, Bennett managed a trip back to the U.S., only to be arrested upon arrival.
