Gamer Jazz is everything it’s cracked up to be, brilliant musicianship, a great variety of tunes and lots of fun. From start to finish, I was bopping along in my seat to the nostalgic sounds of arcade classics, Nintendo themes, and iconic gaming soundtracks.

The band had no faults, and each member got the chance to showcase their talents with impressive solos. I was blown away by their skills! I have to mention my appreciation for the dedication to get authentic sampling, as well as the gaming references in their outfits.

I would have liked a little more info about the songs being played as I sometimes would be thinking to myself “Wait, which game was this one from?”. However, you don’t need to be a gamer or recognise the songs to enjoy this show. The music was so good that you could show up with no gaming knowledge and still have a great time. Of course, the added benefit for gamers is the nostalgia trip of reliving some of the finest gaming music from over the years. I adored how they jazzed up and adapted the songs, which helped me appreciate the beloved songs even more.

If you want to spend the evening chilling to top-tier live music, great banter, and good vibes I would thoroughly recommend Gamer Jazz!
