Now this fringe show was one of the best I have seen this time round! Hilarious relatable standup that certainly lived up to the title ‘Everything’ with not only a clever use of numbers and but also attention to detail and an educational element upfront around the royalties that WA receives from fossil fuel companies! Loved how the artist skipped over the “romance’ section at the beginning, only to come to back to it with a sad story of manipulation or two! I hope to see a new one next year :)

Tom Cashman is one of those comedians that you are pretty sure that you've heard of but just can't quite place where from. FYI, you may have seen Tom on shows like Taskmaster Australia, The Hundred, Question Everything and The Project, plus he is pretty prolific on your favourite social media sites.

Tom's show "Everything" is exactly what it says on the box - is an incredibly funny show about.. well... everything! Armed with his trusted PowerPoint screen, used to help guide his show with different topics, graphs, and screenshots, Tom will have you laughing along with his embarrassing and awkwardly hilarious stories about relationships, jobs, friends and family, health and, weirdly, GST.

Tom is a naturally funny comedian, like your favourite bar regular who can spin a great yarn, except his stories actually have a punchline at the end. His storytelling is relatable and funny, and he engages with his audience in a genuine way. Even when faced with hecklers, he handles them with cheeky grace and humour.

Tom's "analytical" brand of comedy (his words not mine) is genuinely hilarious and his stories cover everything from failed Tinder conquests, cringe-worthy doctor visits, embarrassing yourself on national TV, and bleeding on a treadmill. You know, super relatable stuff that we've definitely all experienced. Except the way that Tom tells a story, you can totally imagine yourself in his shoes and you find yourself cringing from your own imagined embarrassment as you laugh along.

The whole show was a series of laugh-out-loud anecdotes, stories, and jokes, with the finishing PowerPoint video being just the hilarious icing on the cake. No spoilers, you'll just have to grab a ticket and see the show yourself!
