Tom Cashman - 'Everything'

You may have seen him on TikTok or Taskmaster, but now's your chance to catch him live. Tom is bringing his unique brand of hilariously analytical stand-up back to Perth with his new show Everything.

The show features graphs, gags, embarrassing stories… you know, everything.

Tom is best known for his role as the assistant to the Taskmaster Tom Gleeson on Taskmaster Australia, and has guested on other TV shows like The Project, Question Everything and The Hundred with Andy Lee.

In 2021’s lockdown, Tom was forced onto TikTok where he’s racked up more than 120 million views. He’s toured live shows around the country, to London and Edinburgh Fringe, and been part of the Melbourne and Sydney Comedy Festival Roadshows touring Australia and overseas.

Now this fringe show was one of the best I have seen this time round! Hilarious relatable standup that certainly lived up to the title ‘Everything’ with not only a clever use of numbers and but also attention to detail and an educational element upfront around the royalties that WA receives from fossil fuel companies! Loved how the artist skipped over the “romance’ section at the beginning, only to come to back to it with a sad story of manipulation or two! I hope to see a new one next year :)

Laughed so hard I cried

Such a wonderfully funny show! Lots of entertaining, clever and even relatable stories. There were some jokes at the beginning of the show where Tom showed a slide for a second then quickly changed it, but by the time I'd shifted my head to see the screen, the slide was already gone and I'd missed the joke. It would have been nice if they'd been left up for a second or two longer. That was a minor thing though and overall the show was a fantastic experience!
